Haunted Scotland!

I remember a few years ago when I finally got to visit the "home of my heart". I somehow always knew how it would feel the first time I stepped onto that magical scottish soil, and I was right. The rugged beauty, the crisp air, the mist rising over the loch...all cut to my core and gave me clarity. This was home.

July 1st is the beginning of my Haunted Scotland Tour, 2010. Over the last 2 and a half years of doing Downtown Ghost Tours and Grove House ghost tours in Asheville, I have had lots of paranormal experiences from street lights turning off and on as "ghost meters" go crazy to chairs sliding across the floor in the Grove House to stranger-than-fiction things showing up on film. These occurrences fascinate me. I remember the first time I went to the school library in first grade. I asked where the ghost stories were. The librarian frowned at me and told me that those things were not appropriate, if they even had any such books. I stood firm, though, and she finally told me to bring a note from my mother saying it was o.k. to check out "ghost books". Looking back, I now believe that fascination was part of my need to find depth, my desire to uncover the hidden treasures that lay beneath our normal senses.

Now, as a grown-up, I still can't resist a good ghost story so a whole country full of them is just the ticket! The Haunted Scotland Tour is a great combination of history and haunts in a land that can best be described as mystical. I can hardly wait to see who gathers for the trip. The tours always bring just the right people together at just the right time and we have just the right experiences to top it all off.

The itinerary includes 8 exciting days of all the places Scotland is known for, and a few that are under the radar. We will spend one day with the Scotland Association of Paranormal Investigators and go behind the scenes in one of the area's most haunted locations.
